The gathering is yours to shape, and the ranch gives you plenty to build it around: working cowboys and open trails, plus facilitators who can lead your group somewhere new. Add as much or as little as you like. Every experience is led by our team, so there's nothing for you to arrange.
The land is the reason to come, and there's a lot of it. Spend your days out among the horses, the trails, and the wide-open desert:
Head out across the range with our cowboys, at a pace that suits first-timers and seasoned riders alike.
Take one of our complimentary mountain bikes for a ride across our four-square mile property. It’s a great way to explore the land.
Go for a walk through our meandering, steep-sided dry creek beds – and keep an eye out for fossils while you’re at it.
Spend time with our gentle horses and donkeys in a hands-on meet-and-greet, no riding required.
A non-riding session where the horses mirror how each person shows up, offering each participant intuitive insight into themselves. (Weekday availability.)
A guided look into some of the darkest, clearest night skies in the Southwest, blending ancestral story and astronomy.
An evening of live music and storytelling around the fire, under the open sky.
Not every hour has to be filled. When it's time to slow down, the ranch gives your group plenty of ways to unwind:
Immersion in crystal bowls, gongs, and therapeutic sound to restore calm and clarity.
A gentle blend of meditation, breathwork, and mindful movement to open the day.
In the movement studio or out under open sky. Yoga mats, bolsters, and blankets are there for your use.
Saunas at both retreat centres, hot tub at Cottonwood only, for the slow end of day.
Massage and other personal treatments can be arranged on request.
When you want your days to add up to more, our facilitators can lead sessions drawn from years of work in leadership and human connection. Woven into your schedule or shaping the whole retreat, they're built around what your group came to do:
A morning practice of presence and authenticity that deepens group connection and sets an intention for the day.
Settle in for a tour of the property behind our team of Percherons.
Walk the arroyos to ancient petroglyphs and ridge-top views that run for miles, with a guide who knows the land and its history.
An introduction to listening as a leadership skill, strengthening presence and communication.
A practice in asking energizing, future-shaping questions that spark creativity and strength-based leadership.
A clear framework for moving from endings to new beginnings, with practical tools for clarity and confident change.
On occasion, and by arrangement, hospitality pioneer Chip Conley leads a session for visiting groups, drawing on decades of turning lived experience into practical wisdom.
