Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
Rising Circle Ranch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates risingcircleranch.com and the ranch at 77 Saddleback Ranch Road in Lamy, New Mexico. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and in the course of planning events with you, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send an inquiry through our website, we collect your name, email address, and phone number, the type of event you’re planning, whether you’d like a tour, and anything else you choose to tell us. We also keep the details you share when you call, email, or book with us, such as your organization, group size, dates, and the arrangements for your stay.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect some information about your device and your visit, such as your browser and device type, your IP address, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and, if you arrive from an ad, the ad campaign and a click identifier that the ad platform adds to the link. We collect this information with cookies and similar technologies, which are described below.
Calls from our ads. If you call us from one of our Google ads, Google may share details about the call with us, such as its date, time, and length and the caller’s area code.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry, plan and quote your event, and manage your booking;
- follow up with you about your inquiry or your stay;
- operate, secure, and improve our website;
- understand how visitors find and use our website, and measure how well our advertising works;
- show our ads to people who have visited our website, as described below; and
- comply with the law and protect our rights, our guests, and others.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use the following services on our website:
- Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our website. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google Ads conversion tracking tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads sends an inquiry or taps our phone number or email address. When you send an inquiry, we may share your email address and phone number with Google in hashed form, a one-way code, so Google can match the inquiry to an interaction with one of our ads. We use this to measure our advertising.
- Remarketing. We may use Google Ads remarketing. This means that third-party vendors, including Google, may show our ads to you on sites across the internet, and that they use cookies to serve ads based on your past visits to our website. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google’s Ads Settings, and you can opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- HubSpot, our customer relationship management service, stores the inquiries you send us so our team can respond and follow up. HubSpot may also use cookies to help us understand how visitors interact with our website.
You can learn how Google uses information from websites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; if you do, some parts of our website may not work as intended.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising for that browser. Our website doesn’t respond to other “Do Not Track” signals.
How we share information
We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run our website and our business, such as our website hosting and security providers, HubSpot, and Google’s analytics and advertising services;
- with our affiliated companies that help operate the ranch and host events;
- with partners you ask us to involve in your event, such as caterers, facilitators, or activity providers;
- when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our guests, or others; and
- as part of a sale, merger, or other transfer of our business.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as we need it to respond to you, plan and host your event, and meet our business, tax, and legal obligations. After that, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop using it for marketing, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request, we’ll respond as the law requires, and we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.
If we send you marketing email, you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in the email.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, but no website or online service is completely secure.
Children
Our website is for planning group retreats and events. It isn’t directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Visitors from outside the United States
We’re based in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page.
